Here's how to watch the new action comedy inspired by Mattel toys, now streaming.
9to5Mac reports that Apple TV+ has added "Matchbox The Movie" to its streaming library. The film stars John Cena, Jessica Biel, Arturo Castro, Sam Richardson, and Corey Stoll.
The movie held a special screening in Mexico City earlier this month ahead of its worldwide premiere on October 5. It joins Apple TV+'s growing catalog of action films, including "The Gorge," "Wolfs," "Ghosted," "The Family Plan," and "Mayday."
Here's Apple TV+'s synopsis: a group of childhood friends have their lives turned upside down when their former leader, undercover CIA agent Sean (Cena), returns to town and drags them into a global mission to save the world.
The trailer was first revealed at the 2026 San Diego Comic-Con.
