iPhone Duo Lock Screen Gets Quick Focus Toggle

MacRumors reports new Focus mode controls on the upcoming foldable's Lock Screen.

MacRumors reports that the upcoming iPhone Duo will gain new Focus mode controls on the Lock Screen. The finding comes from code explorer pdfu.

When a Focus mode is active, a button appears above the bottom controls, letting you toggle it off and on without leaving the Lock Screen. Your active Focus also shows in the status bar above the clock after you unlock.

This is part of a larger redesign: Apple rebuilt iOS 27 to adapt in real time to its first foldable iPhone, reshaping the interface as the device folds, unfolds, and switches between its two displays.

Pre-orders open Friday, Oct. 16 at 5 a.m. Pacific Time, with availability starting Friday, Oct. 23.
