iPhone Duo lock screen gets Focus toggle

A new Focus toggle on the iPhone Duo's lock screen, found by developer pdfu, per 9to5Mac.

9to5Mac reports that developer pdfu has discovered a new Focus mode control in the iPhone Duo simulator. The button appears on the lock screen above the camera and flashlight icons.

When a Focus mode is active, the button lets you turn it off directly from the lock screen. After turning it off, you can toggle the same mode back on without leaving the lock screen. The active Focus also appears in the status bar above the clock.

This is one of several iOS 27 adaptations Apple made for the iPhone Duo. The outer display defocuses and becomes transparent when the phone opens, and the dock sits on the right side of the outer display instead of the bottom.

The toggle could be useful after a meeting, letting you turn off Do Not Disturb without unlocking the phone. 9to5Mac notes the feature only appears when a Focus mode is enabled.

pdfu has shown other unannounced features, including StandBy views for the iPhone Duo and HomePad, and color options for the latter.
