Amazon's October Prime Day brings discounts on kitchen gear, and CNET's tester sifted through hundreds of deals to find the four worth buying. Here they are, with prices and verdicts from their years of testing.

Vitamix Propel 510 Blender

CNET reports the Vitamix Propel 510 has never been cheaper on Amazon. It normally retails for $500 and averages $433 on the site, but it is now $295. This is only the third time it has dropped to $300. The blender has 2.2 peak horsepower, three automatic programs for smoothies, frozen desserts and hot soups, and is one of the quietest and lightest Vitamix models. It comes with a five-year warranty. CNET's Anna Gragert uses a 19-year-old Vitamix without issue, underscoring the brand's durability. Verdict: Buy. This is the lowest price on record.

Ninja Crispi Air Fryer

The Ninja Crispi is the best air fryer CNET has tested, and it is at its lowest price ever on Amazon. The modular design makes it easy to store, and the glass cooking chamber is PFAS-free and easier to clean than nonstick baskets. It has a tight-fitting lid for storing leftovers. The cooking chamber is lower than some models, so a whole chicken may need cutting. The larger Crispi Pro is also on sale. Verdict: Buy. It rarely goes on sale.

Technivorm KBGV Coffee Maker

Technivorm's KBGV drip coffee machine has cult status among coffee enthusiasts. CNET testing found it delivers perfectly balanced coffee by heating water to a precise temperature. It normally sells for $400 but is now $270 on Amazon. The regular price on Amazon is $366, and it seldom drops below $300. Verdict: Buy. A no-brainer for anyone upgrading a home coffee setup.

Ninja BlendBoss Blender

The BlendBoss is Ninja's newest personal blender and CNET's top pick. In testing, it pulverized ice into snow in 15 seconds and handled dense frozen fruit easily. It comes in multiple colors and has a quirky design. It launched earlier this year and typically sells for $130, but it is down to $88 for Prime Day. Verdict: Buy. This is one of the few discounts since launch.

CNET's tester expects the Vitamix deal to expire or sell out before Prime Day ends. These discounts may not return until Black Friday, so act now.
