TDM Neo headphones roll up into a Bluetooth speaker for $249

The crowdfunded headphones with a flexible headband and outward-facing drivers are shipping now.

The Tomorrow Doesn't Matter Neo headphones, first shown at CES 2026 and funded on Kickstarter last February, are now available in the US for $249 in black or white. They ship with a carrying case and can be bought from TDM's online store, Amazon and Walmart.

The Neo's unusual design uses a flexible headband and two pairs of 40mm drivers per ear cup. One pair faces inward for headphone use; the other pair faces outward and activates when the headphones are rolled up into a Bluetooth speaker. That speaker mode delivers 5 watts per side.

TDM claims 200 hours of listening in headphone mode. Battery life drops to roughly 16 hours in speaker mode, though a wired 3.5mm connection can stretch that further. The ear cushions and battery are both removable and replaceable.

The Verge's John Higgins tried the Neo at CES 2026. He found the sound good but a bit bass-heavy, and the headphones physically heavy because of the extra speaker hardware. He said the roll-up design was easy and fun to use.
