OneDrive Dropping Support for iPhone XR, XS, XS Max
The cloud storage app will no longer get updates on these older iPhones and one iPad model.

Microsoft is ending OneDrive support for devices stuck on iOS 18 and iPadOS 18. MacRumors reports that the move will cut off the iPhone XR, iPhone XS, and iPhone XS Max, along with the seventh-generation iPad, because those models cannot update to iOS 26 or iPadOS 26.
OneDrive 18.12.1 is the last version that works on those operating systems, based on release notes for Microsoft's TestFlight beta. The company has also added a notice to its App Store listing saying support for iOS and iPadOS 18 will end "soon" and recommending users update to iOS 26 or iOS 27 to keep getting the latest versions.
Existing OneDrive copies on affected devices won't immediately stop working, but they'll stop receiving new features, fixes, and app updates once the change rolls out. If you rely on OneDrive and own one of those iPhones or that iPad, it's worth planning for an upgrade if you want cloud syncing to stay up to date.
