Galaxy S27 Ultra color leak drops Purple for Light Pink
9to5Google reports a leaked list of four base colors for Samsung's next Ultra phone, and Purple isn't one of them.

9to5Google reports that tipster @UniverseIce posted a color list for Samsung's Galaxy S27 Ultra on X, with four base colors: Black, Blue, Light Pink and White.
The list has no Purple. 9to5Google notes earlier leaks listed Purple as one of five colors. 9to5Google says it's unclear whether Samsung cut the shade or will sell it as an online exclusive. Online-only colors don't cost more, and 9to5Google notes they usually add a few extra shades to Samsung's lineup.
If Purple is really gone, it would be the first time in four years that a Galaxy S Ultra launched without a purple shade. The Galaxy S23 Ultra came in Lavender in 2023, and every Ultra since has had a similar option. 9to5Google points out that Light Pink sits close to Lavender on the color wheel, so the change may matter less than it seems.
A new look beyond the colors
9to5Google's report also describes a redesign: the Galaxy S27 Ultra will have a new camera bar, with a camera island spanning the entire rear panel. That would set it apart from almost every Ultra phone since 2021.
What to do now
Nothing here is confirmed. 9to5Google says the new models are planned for an early next year launch. If a specific color matters to you, wait for Samsung's official announcement instead of acting on a leaked list.
