The AirPods Pro 3 are $70 off, dropping from $249 to $179. 9to5Mac reports that is just $10 above the lowest price ever tracked on Amazon, a level the deal site has only seen once since the Pro 3 launched.

The AirPods 5, Apple's new entry-level model, start at $129 for the version without active noise cancellation. The version with the Wireless Charging Case costs $149. That means the AirPods Pro 3, with three times better noise cancellation, longer battery life, onboard heart rate sensors, and hearing aid features, costs just $30 more. 9to5Mac says that pricing makes the Pro 3 a better buy for most people.

For those who prefer over-ear headphones, the 2026 AirPods Max 2 are $120 off in all five colorways. The deal brings them to just $30 above the all-time low tracked on Amazon. 9to5Mac notes that this is only the second time the Max 2 have sold at this price since they were released earlier this year.

The article predicts that AirPods 5 prices will likely drop closer to $100 or less, but based on previous generation history, they may not fall below $99 until well into 2027.
