Omega Drops Six Bond Watches Despite No New Film
The Swiss watchmaker releases a collection of Seamaster Divers themed around James Bond and his nemesis organization, Spectre.

Wired reports that Omega has launched six new Seamaster Diver 300M watches tied to the James Bond franchise, even though no new Bond film is in production. The move comes as Omega's parent company, Swatch Group, saw its net profit fall almost 90 percent in 2025.
Three watches carry the 007 symbol, and three feature the octopus-like motif of Spectre, the fictional terrorist group from the films. The two standard models cost $8,600 each — a blue-dial edition for Bond and a black-dial edition for Spectre. Both come on a brushed mesh bracelet and share the same movement.
For buyers with deeper pockets, Omega offers two limited-edition numbered sets, each capped at 77 boxes. At $89,800 per pair, you get one stainless-steel watch on a brushed mesh bracelet and one in platinum-gold on leather. Omega won't sell them individually.
The sets also include a NATO strap, a strap-changing tool, cuff links, a cord bracelet, a loupe, a leather travel pouch and card holder, and papers.
This isn't the first time Omega has launched Bond-themed watches without a film. Wired notes that earlier this year it released a model tied to a James Bond video game. The brand's sales have historically spiked during Bond film promotions, according to Wired.
If you have the cash and love Bond, these watches are clearly for you. Everyone else can admire from a distance.
