Google Health 5.10: AFib alerts for Japan and more

The update also brings a smarter readiness score and the ability to delete daily logs by chatting with your coach.

9to5Google reports that Google Health 5.10 is rolling out for Android and iOS with three new features.

Users in Japan can now set up irregular rhythm notifications on their Pixel Watch or Fitbit devices. The feature monitors heart data while you’re still or sleeping, checking for signs of atrial fibrillation (AFib). It’s available from the Health tab in the app.

The readiness score has been updated to use additional sleep signals, giving a more personalized reading each morning.

You can now delete certain daily entries by asking the Google Health Coach in chat. Say something like "Delete the run I logged this morning" to remove workouts, meals, weight, or symptoms. Medical records are not affected.

It’s a minor update, but the AFib detection is a meaningful addition for Japanese users with compatible wearables. The chat deletion is a nice quality-of-life improvement for anyone who logs regularly.
